Every once in a while, it’s important to remember that Penguins in Jumpers is a thing. A real thing.
People knit sweaters for penguins whose feathers have been damaged by their exposure to oil slicks.
And they are fucking adorable.

Whoever wrote this story must really be an idoit. First off, why even mention the dog?? If it was a lab, golden retreiver, or any other breed they would not have mentioned it. Second, they already said on the news the man died of blunt force trauma, the dog most likely had blood on him because he was trying to help his owner. The dog wouldnt allow police inside because, well, lets be honest, all the dog knows is a bunch of strangers are banging on the door trying to break in, of course the dog is going to bark and try and keep his owner and home safe from strangers! I know if police or any stranger was trying to get into my apartment Lexy damn sure wouldn’t let them in, because her first priority is to keep me safe and she doesnt know if they’re there to hurt me or not. This dog just lost it’s owner and will now more then likely lose it’s own life. It’s “news” stories like this that scares people into thinking pitbulls are horrible monsters when that couldnt be further from the truth. Reporters should really think before they write and realize what kind of negative impact their words really have.
